Song 1: Theme Song | The Fall - halfalive It's pretty excrucriating to share your ideas with the world, huh? Silsasym is pretty familiar with the creative process and with trying to get people to LISTEN to their (brilliant-to-them) ideas. I think it also hints nicely at how there's more to them than JUST being annoying and talking too much. Also, it's a pretty suiting song for beginnings, like the beginning of this playlist ;)
Song 2: How they view themself | TAPED - Naaz They are aware that they're a bit much and a bit offputting and come across as silly. They notice that others often don't take them as serious as they might like them to. But that's fine, THEY like who they are! They wouldn't want to switch their brain for anyone elses! (... most of the time)
Song 3: How they view the rest of the world | ... I don't have one for that Why have a view on the rest of the world when you could also be self-obsessed? ... no, I just didn't find anything yet.
Song 4: Relationship with another character | Monster - dodie AND would you be so kind - dodie "Monster" is about Myr and Sil. They get on each others nerves and disagree a lot. Most of the time, they only bicker back and forth for a bit. But there's the potential for their conflicts to get a bit more serious. And they're both easy to provoke and don't always know when to stop. "Would you be so kind" is about Sil and Lotta. It's about Sil courting Lotta, flirting a little and trying to find out if she's into it. (They're together now, so I'd say yes)
Song 5: What they want | Hallelujah - Oh Wonder They just wanna Be Someone. A real special cookie. Become Something, yknow? Want to have Made It. Myr's player actually recommended this one to me as a Sil song and it sticked.
Song 6: What's important to them | Someday - Naaz ... yeah. They wanna Be Someone. A real special cookie. A lot of their songs are kinda like that, huh? They have this ambition, but can't really seem to actually GET somewhere. But one day, surely, they shall succeed. They're just an underdog!
Song 7: What they hate | The entertainment's here - AJR Others see them as goofy, they wouldn't change their brain for anything in the world - but also, could people maybe STOP and really look closely for a second?? They're not just the court jester, they're not just there to lighten the mood. They ARE genuinely quite skilled in a lot of things and can have profound insights into situations.
Song 8: Ass-Kicking Song | Pirate Manners - Bossfight Now, Sil didn't take that 1 level swashbuckler dip that's so popular for investigators. But I think a bit of bravado still suits them. Also it's a fun tune. Bleep bloop bleep.
Song 9: An event in their life | Detective Detective - Static-P All of this happened. Exactly. Don't ask me where the cars are hidden in this medieval-ish fantasy setting. ... No. They're just a detective and have probably witnessed SOME detectiving. Or heard grand stories from their teachers. In any case, Sil WISHES they were as cool as this.
Song 10: "Origin" Song | Smother - Daughter Another entry to the "a lot" characterization streak. They don't WANT to be overbearing and chase people away by being too self-centered. They aren't even thinking that fondly of themself! The facade sure is there, but that's mostly them craving validation because of lacking self-esteem.
Song 11: End Credit Song | The Good Part - AJR They will keep striving. Fall down, get back up. At some point, they WILL get to the good part. It has to exist somewhere, their life WILL be grander than right now. Only, they are so very impatient, could it please be NOW already??
Song 12: BONUS SONG | BLENDER - 5 Seconds of Summer When this song comes on in my roommate's car, I always go "HAH that's SO Sil". Just exactly their flavor of emotional mess, hah.
